I'm Mrs. Hudson. Welcome to 4th grade!
I have lived in North Carolina almost my whole life. I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. When I was a child, my favorite activity was reading. I still treasure the books that I received at every birthday and Christmas. My favorites were The Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
After high school, I went to Randolph-Macon Woman's College (now Randolph College), where I majored in World Religions. I have a Master's Degree in Educational Ministry from Wheaton College (IL), and a Master's Degree in Teaching from Queens University of Charlotte. I also have a certificate in Academically Gifted Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
I moved to Charlotte in 1993 from Washington, DC. My husband, Jim, and I have four children -- Andrew, Taylor, Zachary, and Michael. All of my children graduated from South Mecklenburg High School. Michael is currently a Junior at Western Carolina University.
My hobbies include reading, writing, exercise (sometimes), and learning how to play the mandolin.
